On June 13, the “Jiaming Cup” 2023 Steel, Raw Materials, and Refractory Enterprises Exchange Forum & China Carbon Industry Supply-Demand Meeting was successfully held in Nanjing.
The event was themed “Supply-Demand Matchmaking, New Product Applications, Intelligent Manufacturing, and Process Upgrading.”

 It was co-hosted by Tangshan Yinnailian E-Commerce Co., Ltd., the Gangyuanbao Platform, and the Yinnailian Platform, with guidance from the China Carbon Industry Association and the China Refractories Industry Association. The event was proudly titled by Jiangsu Jiaming Carbon New Materials Co., Ltd., and brought together nearly 300 participants, including suppliers of metallurgical raw materials and refractories, as well as representatives from leading steel mills and procurement departments.

The forum officially commenced at 9:00 AM with a welcoming speech by Mr. Xue Mingzheng, Vice President of the Lianyungang Chamber of International Commerce and General Manager of Jiangsu Jiaming Carbon New Materials Co., Ltd.

In his remarks, Mr. Xue extended a warm welcome to all attendees and emphasized the urgent need for deeper communication and collaboration in today’s challenging economic climate. He called on all stakeholders to work together in achieving cost reduction and efficiency improvement across the steel industry. His speech set the tone for the forum’s central theme: how the steel and metallurgy sectors can advance toward green transformation in the face of ongoing industry pressures.

The forum invited Mr. Sun Qing, Advisor and Honorary President of the China Carbon Industry Association, to deliver a keynote speech titled “Current Status and Future Outlook of China’s Carbon Industry.”

Professor Li Jing from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, a renowned expert in LF (Ladle Furnace) refining technology, delivered a keynote presentation titled “Intelligent Control of LF Refining Technology.”His talk focused on the advantages and implementation of fully automated LF refining, as well as intelligent and stable control of molten steel quality.

Professor Fan Dingdong from Anhui University of Technology delivered a presentation titled “Application of Cored Wire Products and New Requirements for Technological Development.”

As a highlight of the conference, the Gangyuanbao platform announced the results of its two-month nationwide selection process, unveiling the winners of the “Top 10 (Semi) Graphitized Recarburizer Suppliers” and “Outstanding Gold Medal Suppliers” awards.

An official award ceremony was held on-site to present honorary plaques to the distinguished enterprises.
